Canucks/Stars- Game 1 of this series lasted almost 8 full periods. It was the 6th longest game in history. I passed out in the middle of the 7th and woke up extremely proud/ashamed of myself. Nucks are playing well so far although Bieksa needs to stay out of the box. Nucks in 7.
Sharks/Predators- I am enjoying the dirty hockey being played in this series. I was happy to see Johnny Cheechoo go down with a knee injury and enjoyed when Radulov got suspended for knocking some douchy Shark out. I hope Tootoo starts one-punching people. Preds in 6.
Ducks/Wild- I hate the Ducks with a passion. I was hoping the Wild would put up some sort of valiant struggle but alas, they are getting embarrassed in this one. Goddamn Nieder-Prongs. What a bunch of idiots. Ducks in 4.
Red Wings/Flames. I hate both of these teams although I hate the Wings slightly more. I wish Iginla would revive the ol' Draperface but I don't think that will happen. The Flames will win one home game and then roll over and die. Red Wings in 5.
East-
Sabres/Islanders- I am really pulling for the Isle in the Eastern bracket. They have a team of stallions and GM who was their back up goaltender last season. Capt. Canada can lead this rag-tag group to glory. I feel it. Plus I really hate Daniel Briere. Islanders in 7.
Senators/Penguins- Armstrong almost murdered poor Eaves in game 2 and that will be the catalyst for the Penguins to lose this series. The Sens are going to be fired up and Heatley is going to score sweet goals all over Sid the Gome and all of his little friends. And don't forget about Chris Neil. Senators in 6.
Thrashers/Rangers- I have no idea why the Thrash is getting worked in this one but they are. They are getting destroyed 6-0 as we speak. Shanahan must mean business this year. Rangers in 4.
Devils/Lightning- I could really care less about this one. I will side with the Lightning simply because I have the jersey. Lightning in 7.
