A.) The actual movie "Napolean Dynamite" is not funny. It really isn't. B.) The dude who played "Napolean Dynamite" definitely is not funny. He was terrible in "Benchwarmers" and was equally awful in "Blades Of Glory." C.) I can't think of anything new for "C" other than that I really don't find this guy humorous. Although, to be fair to him, "Benchwarmers" would have sucked with or without him.
I meant to comment on this like a month ago... Yeah, this movie's terrible. I really tried to like it, and just couldn't do it. Napolean Dynamite needs to stop getting movie roles. Dude is not funny.
Ang and I finally rented this last night and it was so bad that I questioned my own manhood for watching it. I think it was worse than "Kicking And Screaming." It was that bad. Napolean Dynamite goes out on a limb and plays a retarded guy. Funny! David Spade has a bowl haircut. Funny! I think I counted 7 different fart jokes and two nut shots. I am still not quite sure if it was a children's movie or an adult movie. It did have a surprising number of kids in it. But it also had a few dirty jokes. Whatever it was, it was worse than pulling out ball hair. Just so you know. David Spade- what happened? I used to love you. Actually, that goes for all the 90's SNL guys. Quit embarrassing yourselves and try to make a movie aimed at someone older than 10. Do you remember when you used to be funny? I barely do anymore...
