I'll look for it at the video store. I may have to find it somewhere else but I will definately watch it. How could I not?

I'll send you some movie stuff. I have watched a ton of garbage lately...

Get typing. I'm almost out of movie entries for the site. And seriously, please check out the Tom Sizemore as Pete Rose film.

I'll see what I can do. Happy to oblige, boys. I have been hitting the video store pretty hard lately so if you request it, and they have it, then I will watch it. I watched a film called "Despiser" this weekend. It defies explanation. It was that good/bad. I couldn't really decide.

Let's do this.

I absolutely agree. We'll start a new thread and then I can link to it from the Sly site. I would say go easy on the guy, but he has proven time and time again that he'll give anything a shot.

I totally dig the idea of daring Pocaroba to watch movies via suggestions thru the site. That would be awesome.

All I'm getting is one of those question mark things again. I don't know why that is. If you request it, I will view it. That would be a good suggestion for the site. If anyone has any crappy movies that they are scared of watching, I will take the challenge.

Please include this in your upcoming viewings. It's begging for the Weekly Waste treatment. And I'm curious to know how bad it is.

Yeah, it may just be me. But I will say that I was in a great mood and really wanted to see it. I honestly was sitting there watching it just like "I should turn this off. I am bored. Is there a plot?" It wasn't terrible. It just wasn't that great. I was super disappointed.

Also, movies where people play drug addicts almost always get good reviews. People think it is so challenging. Meanwhile, all they do is lose 15 pounds and spray water on their face before every scene. I am starting to think that drug addict movies are to the 2000s as retarded people movies were to the 70s. Eh, eh? Any takers?

I am planning on seeing all of these movies. We just kicked Netflix back in so you have given me some good ideas for my queue. I had heard nothing but good things about Half Nelson too...

Watched a few flicks over the weekend:

Jesus Camp

This is a really creepy documentary about Evangelical Christians in the bible belt. The wife and I both found this movie fascinating and a little bit scary. It follows a few LITTLE kids as they tell you about the lord and attend a camp in Colorado where they learn to love the lord even more. Every adult in this film is a creep. Ex: Pastor Becky blesses all of the A/V equipment at camp so the devil won't interrupt her powerpoint. Check it out.

Half Nelson

I had heard nothing but good things about this movie. And after seeing it I really don't know why. It isn't bad. It's just...boring. He's a teacher. He smokes crack. So what? Nothing happens and you will never care if it does. I felt relief when this overrated piece of "arthouse" cinema was over.

The Last King Of Scotland

I had heard nothing but good things about this movie. And after seeing it I know why. Forest Whitaker kicks ayce as Idi Amin and the film as a whole is really well done. It is pretty intense and clever in the way that the story is told from the point of view of the Scottish doctor. I really really liked this one. And Agent Scully was in it so you have no complaints there.

Word.
