Who is Debbie trying to fool with the "Deborah." We all know who you are. If she can do that I think that Lorenzo Lamas should change his name to MC Ren Lamas. Or Renegade. Or The Gader. Take your pick.
That looks awesome. I could watch Mike Watt interviews all day. The dude is fascinating. Was that "Food For Thought" bookstore the one in Portland? Holla! I totally was forced to by school books there a few times. Nice to see that Ian MacKaye has not bought a new hat since the promotional photo for "Margin Walker."
Yes they showed the trailer before transformers and it seemed pretty sweet. brilliant marketing campaign just using the date and no title and no major plot points other than what you see in the trailer. Cloverfield is just the working title the studio is using or so i read.
being a pretty big Lost fan i was happy to see jj abrams name attached to it.
let's hope it doesn't generate a snakes on a plane type buzz and then suck ass...
It's definitely familiar on a bunch of different levels. I was going to peruse the imdb message boards but I really have to be in a tolerant state of mind to do that and I'm not feeling it today.
I really like when they do effects on Digital Video (regarding Cloverfield). It makes it so much more real and scary looking.
I guess we'll find out next year if it's going to be the new Blair Witch or not.
And am I crazy or does "The Invasion" have the same plot as "V?" Or do I remember "V" with complete inaccuracy. I don't think I have seen it since I was like 12.
That actually looks pretty sweet. I appreciate that the films is digital due to the fact that a character is filming the action. I'll save my whole digital vs. real film argument for another thread.
I love that horror movies are really coming back and being awesome. Does anyone remember when they sucked for a good like 15 years there in the 80s and early 90s? I'm talking actual scary horror movies. I enjoy Freddy and Jason as much as the next geek but those aren't scary films.
Either way I can't wait to not see this in the theater. I've got to save up a down payment to see "John Rambo" in 8 months. Do they take 1st borns at the theater? I may want popcorn.
