RE: ESPN Classic

"Nice re-direct, EA.

You're slipping, biff."

True, I am slipping. Alright, this is in the original thread, you picky Nancy-pants.

All I am saying is that yesterday there was a college football game from last week. Why would I care about that? How is that classic? I could still watch the highlights on ESPN.com or on YouTube. I need the crap from the 70's and 80's. What about those old 60's Home Run Derbies? I need some Glenn Hubbard!

That's shafting sac-tacular! I'd give my left testis to be able to tell time so easily. Oh wait, my fcuking phone already does that for my lazy azz! And I've still got both my man orbs!! It's win-win for this cvnt!

Well ****mouth, it's ****ing taint-tastic. It is so asslicking easy to tell time here that even a dumb bitch with a **** or dick or vag in her mouth could do it. Balls.

AWESOME! Auto-censor, but you can still get other offensive words like bitch and gay through.

You mean how it won't let me say ****?

It's the board. I tried to change it but apparently that's a feature only available with the premium package. Go figure.

Ah, well. I'll trade a vast majority of the beers I've drank for the memory of whatever those were called. Plus I'm pretty sure it was the Rip City Rag. Though I know where I can find out. I'll report back.

I know the theme song was "Bust A Bucket." I don't remember the name for the towels...

Rip City! What was the special name for those towels they sold? Was it the Rip City Rag?

Saturday's programming featured a marathon of NBA final games from the late 80's/early 90's. Looks like I can stop bitching for a while. Hadn't seen Rick Mahorn or Vinnie "The Microwave" Johnson in a while. Not to mention the Blazers team that made it to the finals against the Bulls. Mercy mercy, Jerome Kersey.

Watching poker on TV is great when you want to take your mind of the stairmaster/elliptical you're on/free weights you're lifting. It's just a mindless thing to do when you're doing something else, not so much the sort of thing that I would sit down with the express purpose of watching.

I will never understand why people want to watch poker on TV. Playing it, I get that. But watching people play cards? I guess I never caught poker fever like the rest of the world.

Billiards, I get that. Some of those pool shark ladies have some pretty rocking bodies.

They probably just noticed that (sadly) the ratings went up when they started playing poker and billiards rather than actual "classic" games and so they decided to ditch the classic programming in favor of programming that isn't actually "classis."

Exactly. If it had always been a ****ty channel, I wouldn't mind.

They used to show old baseball games, and it was spectacular. Except that sometimes they would put the final score of the game in the "info" thing in the digital cable menu so if you checked it to see what year the game was from it would tell you who won, or that Jack Morris threw a no-hitter, etc. Still, quality programming.

Now the best thing they have going is American Gladiator repeats, which I will sometimes watch because they're the really old ones with Dan Deirdorff or Larry Csonka or Alex Karras or whoever the hell that guy is.

I think Laser might have a learning disability.

They must have forgotten what the word "classic" means. Not that I don't enjoy me some poker and/or billiards, but I hear what you're saying. It's kinda like when MTV stopped playing music in the late 90s, huh?

Is absolutely worthless these days. All they show is poker (not a sport) and billiards (barely a sport).

And they don't show Cheap Seats anymore!

I want some ALCS championship games from 1978 or something. Hit me with some Bucky Dent.
